2022 Beach Volleyball Major Series -   gstaad Switzerland


The Beach Volleyball Major Series was an international series of beach volleyball tournaments from 2015 to 2020. The tournaments consisted of Tour Stops and formed part of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour. The series concluded with the FIVB World Tour Finals.


Each tournament in the series had a prize pool of US$300,000 per gender, except for the World Tour Finals which had a prize pool of US$400,000 per gender.

In the all-Brazilian final match, Duda / Ana Patricia prevail against Barbara / Carol. They win in three sets and thus get the deserved tournament victory. The third place goes to the Australians Clancy / Mariafe. They win the bronze medal game against the Latvians Kravcenoka / Graudina.

The Chilean win in a spectacular game against Perusic/Schweiner (CZE). In front of sold-out stands they prevail in 2 sets with 21:19, 22:20, celebrating their first tournament victory in Gstaad. The third place goes to Varenhorst/van de Velde (NED).
