  The Beach Volleyball Major Series was an international series of beach volleyball tournaments from 2015 to 2020. The tournaments consisted of Tour Stops and formed part of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour. The series concluded with the FIVB World Tour Finals. Each tournament in the series had a prize pool of US$300,000 per gender, except for the World Tour Finals which had a prize pool of US$400,000 per gender.   The 2022 World Lacrosse Women's World Championship, the 11th Women's World Championship (formerly known as the Women's Lacrosse World Cup), is the premier international women's lacrosse tournament. The tournament was held at Towson University in Towson, Maryland, United States. U.S. Defeats Canada to Become First Host Country to Win World Championship The United States defeated Canada 11-8 in the gold medal game of the Women's World Lacrosse Championship on Saturday at Unitas Stadium. Marie McCool and Sam Apuzzo scored 3 goals each. The U.S. led from start to finish, though never by more than four goals, in a closely contested final.   The 2022 IHF Women's Junior World Championship is the 23rd edition of the IHF Women's Junior World Championship held in Slovenia from 22 June to 3 July 2022 under the auspices of the International Handball Federation (IHF).  The championship was organized by the Handball Federation of Slovenia. This time the number of teams increased from 24 to 32.
